Prairie Sunset

Often Described as a “Cheddar-Gouda” Blend, Prairie Sunset is a Wisonsin original made by Emmi Roth. Aged for 4 months, this pasteurized cow milk cheese has a dense and chewy texture with a flavor that is nutty and reminiscent of butterscotch. Its paste has a rich golden / orange color with a small scattering of little eyes. Ideally used as a table cheese, it can also be applied to many salads and cooked items.
